An Autographed Chinese Play, Thunderstorm by Tsao Yu, 1978. A Chinese Drama Translated into English, signed by the playwright/dramatist.  This copy is the 3rd edition, published in China and translated into English, of the 1933 drama by Tsao Yu (1910-1996), who has been called "the founding father of [China's] modern drama."

This is a hardcover book, signed and dated by the author when he presented it to a professor at Indiana University in 1980. It is illustrated with black and white photographs of scenes from the play.

The book is in excellent condition, without wear, writing or smudges. The pages are clean and tightly bound. The dust jacket is moderately worn on the edges and corners.
